Residents paying property tax despite 'extremely unsightly' road to Rivercourt in Carlow

What do you think of this?
Calls have been made for Carlow County Council to improve the "extremely unsightly" approach road to Rivercourt in Carlow Town for the residents who pay their Local Property Tax.
Cllr Andrea Dalton raised the matter this month's full meeting of the local authority and she said the issue on the road down to Rivercourt is over the bollards.
However, Cllr John Cassin, said the bollards had been put in because people were illegally parking there.
Director of Services, Dan McInerney, said there is a reason why they're there but acknowledged that the concrete bollards are very unsightly and it's difficult to keep the area clean and weed free but the Council are preparing an alternative proposal.
He appreciated that the bollards could be affecting the value of the residents' homes.
"There are a couple of options on the table and it will happen very soon," he added.
