Revealed: Carlow to hire private investigator to tackle illegal dumping in the county

As part of the Anti Dumping Initiative 2023, Carlow County Council have revealed that they intend to hire a private investigator to help in the surveillance of illegal dumping. 

Those found illegally dumping can be issued fines and/or expect legal action to be taken.

The Environment Department of the County Council is funded by the Government and their goal is to reduce illegal dumping.
