What do you think of these figures?
There are 73 social workers for the Child and Family Agency spread across Carlow, Kilkenny and South Tipperary, new figures have revealed.
Sinn Féin TD Pat Buckley asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the key workers employed by her Department or organisations under her aegis; and the respective catchment areas in which they operate under or services they are assigned to.
The Parliamentary Question led to Minister Katherine Zappone confirming the figures for social workers in the area.
*Figures are as of a December 2018 headcount.
