Carlow native Kylie Murphy has re-signed with Wexford Youths for the forthcoming Women's National League (WNL) campaign.

Murphy, who is a stalwart at the club since joining in 2011, has captained her side for over a decade - making 263 appearances and scoring 105 goals.

The 34-year-old has won four league titles, four FAI Cups and has been named on the FAI Women's National League Team of the Season on a number of occasions.

Murphy was named WNL Player of the Season and Soccer Writers of Ireland Women's Personality of the Year for 2021 after she helped guide the Youths to FAI Cup triumph that year.

The 2023 WNL season begins in March.
