Speeding driver stopped by Carlow gardaí found to have no insurance

A speeding driver clocked by Carlow gardaí got more than they bargained for when they were detected on the Bank Holiday Monday. 

Carlow Roads Policing Unit operating a speed check in Tullow earlier this week clocked the driver travelling at 88 kph. 

The speeding driver was found to have no driving licence and no insurance.

A court appearance is expected to follow.
