KEY provides a friendly, supportive and safe environment for a young person to achieve a Major QQI Award at levels 3 and 4 and VTCT Certification.

To qualify, a young person must be:

• Aged 16 to 21 years
• Unemployed and have left school. Preference will be given to those who have no exam qualifications
• Registered with INTREO if 18 or over

We also offer Linked Work Experience LWE! LWE is a six-month job placement programme that aims to support young people finding employment.

Training Hours & Payment Rates:

• Training Hours: Mon – Thurs 9am – 3.30pm - Fri 9am - 1pm
• Training allowances are paid weekly in accordance with current Kilkenny Carlow ETB rates.
