Creations by students of Tyndall College and Tullow Community School have made it to the voting rounds of the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture competition for 2019.

Four teams from the Tullow school have made it through to the Eastern Regional final but they need the public's help.

Students from Tyndall College have a dress in the closing stages of the regional final too called "Miss Choice" and it is made from TogetherForYes leaflets.

Junk Kouture is an annual environmental competition where secondary school students turn unwanted, throwaway items into fabulous creations worthy of any catwalk.

Public voting closes this Friday.

The regional finals will take place in The Helix, Dublin on Monday, March 4. Whoever wins the vote in each region gets 10% of their marks towards potentially getting to the grand final in the 3Arena later this year.
