The youngest writer ever to perform at Borris literary festival is set to feature on TV

Yeva Skalietska is the youngest writer ever to feature as part of The Festival of Writing & Ideas at Borris House in County Carlow.

Yeva will appear on the Nationwide programme on TV tonight, Friday 15th September at 7pm on RTE One.

Yeva is a thirteen-year-old Ukrainian girl who grew up living with her granny in Kharkiv, near the Russian border and who arrived in Dublin in March 2022. 

She was a guest speaker at the 2023 Festival of Writing & Ideas in Borris where she shared her story and her love of writing with attendees.
