This Carlow location was revealed as one of the best hidden gems in Ireland in newest study by Swedish electric vehicle brand Polestar.

The study analysed data from TripAdvisor, Instagram and TikTok to some up with a list of top-rated locations across the country. The social media presence of these locations were then analysed using views and hashtags to pinpoint the truly hidden gems. The more tags, the lower the location ranked making it a real hidden gem.

The Milford Mills in Carlow made the top twenty list of the best hidden gems around the country. It was deemed to be a lesser-known spot where people can experience its true beauty, away from the crowds.

These other Carlow locations were also assessed in the survey: Ballymoon Castle, Brownshill Dolmen, Oak Park, Cathedral of the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary, Altamont Gardens, Delta Sensory Gardens, Borris House, Huntington Castle and Duckett's Grove.
