Tributes pour in for 'beautiful and gentle lady' from Carlow following her passing

Tributes pour in for Kathleen Deery (née Morgan) of 4 Collins Park, Rathvilly, County Carlow.

Kathleen passed away on 30th May 2024 peacefully at The District Hospital Carlow.

Predeceased by her sister Ellen. Sadly missed by her loving husband Hugh, son Joe, daughters Anne, Caroline and Elizabeth, grandchildren Keith, Nicole, Shannon, Sean, Paul and Orlaith, great-grandchild Kealan, sister Anne, brothers Jimmy, Leo and Joe, daughter-in-law Sarah, sons-in-law Jim, James and Dean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of RIP.ie and read as follows:

"Heartfelt condolences to the Deery and Morgan families on your great loss. Mrs Deery was a beautiful and gentle lady. May she rest in peace."

Another reads: "Sincere condolences to Hughie, Joe, Ann, Caroline and Lizzie and all the Morgan family. Mrs Deery was a very quiet kind and gentle woman may she rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at her daughter, Anne’s residence in Ladystown, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 DP38) on Saturday from 3 o'clock until 7 o’clock. House private thereafter please. Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly, on Sunday for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest in Rathvilly Cemetery.
