UPDATED: Traffic chaos Thursday morning on Carlow/Kilkenny road after M9 crash

The road has since re-opened
The M9 southbound was closed between J7 Paulstown and J8 Kilkenny following a collision on Thursday morning.
Traffic was being diverted towards Kilkenny City via the Old Dublin Rd (R712) which caused major delays on the road.
The M9 route has since re-opened.
