'When honeybees swarm it may look scary, but they're actually very calm and unlikely to sting'
Carlow Beekeepers Association have posted a video of "swarming bees in flight".
One of their Carlow beekeepers, Dermot Rothwell, caught this "really cool footage at his house".
The Association added: "When honeybees swarm it may look scary, but they're actually very calm and unlikely to sting due to the queen's 'mandibular' pheremone. So keep calm and enjoy the rare sight if you're ever lucky enough!"
