Carlow Weather: Temperatures to remain high and humid over the weekend
Friday will be very warm with highest temperatures of 24 to 28 degrees, possibly higher in a few places, according to Met Éireann.
It will be mainly dry with sunny spells.
Scattered thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon.

On Saturday 9th September we will see sunny spells and isolated showers, some of which will be heavy with thunderstorms possible.
Highest temperatures of 23 to 26 degrees with light southwest or variable winds.
National Outlook: Staying very warm and humid with sunny spells and occasional thundery downpours.

Lowest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees with patches of mist and fog forming in near calm conditions.
Sunday will be another warm day with sunny spells and showers, some heavy with thunderstorms and spot flooding possible.

On Sunday night, showers in the east will largely die out overnight.
Further spells of rain will move into the northwest and slowly track southeastwards.
Lowest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees with light westerly breezes.
It will start to become cooler from Monday onwards.
