Carlow Weather: Heavy rain and possible thunder as it becomes breezy and blustery
On Thursday morning there will be a mix of cloud and clear spells and it will be dry apart from a few patches of drizzle, according to Met Éireann.
During the afternoon, a band of rain will move eastwards across Leinster and will be heavy at times with thunder possible. It will become breezy and blustery too with a fresh and gusty southerly wind developing.
During the evening, winds will ease and the rain will clear eastwards, with dry and clear conditions following. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees.
Thursday night will be dry with clear spells and patches of mist. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees, coolest in the south, in a light to moderate south to southwest wind.

Friday 29th September will be mostly dry with sunny spells. Isolated light showers are possible. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees in a light to moderate west to southwest wind.
National Outlook: Unsettled for the weekend and Monday, with rain or showers, then turning drier and brighter.
