Carlow Weather: Unsettled conditions as the weekend starts wet and breezy
Saturday morning, 30th September, will start wet and breezy with rain spreading from the southwest, turning heavy at times, according to Met Eireann. The rain will turn patchy during the afternoon and will gradually clear northeastwards in the evening. Light to moderate southeasterly winds will increase fresh to strong and gusty at times, veering southwest and easing later in the day.
Highs of 18 to 20 degrees.
Saturday night will be dry in many areas to begin with variable cloud and some clear breaks, although patchy rain or showers may affect southern and southeastern coastal areas for a time. Scattered showers will move into the west and northwest overnight.
Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate south to southwest wind, fresh and gusty near western and northwestern coasts.
