Thursday will be windy with sunny spells, showers, and thunderstorms possible, according to Met Éireann.

Fresh to strong and gusty southwest to west winds. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

Thursday night will be cold with clear spells and blustery showers.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees in a fresh and gusty west to southwest wind.

Solar UV Index:Low

Continuing windy on Friday 29th December with fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds. Also expect sunny spells and scattered blustery showers.

Highest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees, with an added wind chill factor.
