Wednesday will bring sunny spells and scattered showers, most frequent in the south and west, possibly with some hail and thunder.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in a light to moderate westerly wind.
According to Met Éireann, scattered showers will continue overnight Wednesday, with clear spells in between.
Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in a light to moderate west to southwest wind.

Thursday 4th January will be mainly dry with isolated showers and sunny spells, along with light to moderate westerly winds.
Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.
National Outlook: Turning more settled towards the end of the week with high pressure looking set to dominate. Turning cold also with frost, mist and fog likely.
