According to Met Éireann, today's (Monday, January 29) forecast will be rather breezy with scattered outbreaks of rain.
Overnight rain, drizzle and mist will linger across eastern and southern counties for a time on Monday with the chance of locally wintry falls over higher ground during the early morning.
Elsewhere, it will be a dry day with bright or sunny spells.
Cool with highest temperatures of just 5 to 8 degrees in light to moderate northerly winds, quite brisk however along the East Coast.
Monday night will be dry and mostly clear but with frost and icy patches.
Cold with lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees in light northwesterly winds.
