Carlow upgraded to an orange weather warning for Thunderstorms.
Following announcement from Met Éireann earlier in the day that Carlow was on the yellow warning list, it has been upgraded to an orange warning.
It is the same warning as earlier just more severe, "Slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy downpours and hail.
Impacts: Flash flooding, very difficult traveling conditions with poor visibility, potential damage to power lines."
The warning remains valid from Tuesday the 21st of May from 13.44 to 20.00 on the same day.
