Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees
Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas to start the week.
Firstly starting with todays weather from Met Éireann: "Mostly cloudy at first today, Monday, with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, along with patchy mist and fog, which will gradually clear eastwards this afternoon with some bright or sunny spells following. A few patches of drizzle and mist will linger in the south until this evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees with moderate westerly winds, becoming northwesterly."
This evening: "Dry tonight with variable cloud and clear spells. Cloud will increase from the west towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate northwest breezes becoming mainly light westerly overnight."
An early look then tomorrows forecast: "Mainly cloudy tomorrow, Tuesday, with occasional rain and drizzle. The best of the limited bright or sunny intervals will be over southern parts of province. Highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds."
National Outlook: " Mixed, changeable weather with spells of rain or showers interspaced with drier and brighter periods. Windy at times too, particularly later Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures generally below normal for early July, especially in the northwest."
