Carlow Weather and Met Éireann provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding for the day.
Firstly, looking to Carlow Weather on X: "Another dull damp morning but rainfall amounts overnight generally low. Brighter weather will move in from the West with sunny spells and showers but becoming very breezy."
Then looking to Met Éireann: "This morning will be cloudy with patchy light rain, drizzle and mist. The rain will clear eastwards and will be followed by sunny spells and scattered showers for the afternoon and evening. Becoming breezy as light to moderate southwest winds increase moderate to fresh westerly. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees."
This evening: "Tonight will be breezy with a mix of clear spells and scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in a moderate to fresh southwest to west wind."
A look then to tomorrow: "
Tomorrow will be breezy and blustery with fresh and gusty westerly winds. There will be sunny spells and scattered showers in the morning but it will become largely dry for the afternoon and evening as showers become isolated. Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees."
National Outlook: "Quite unsettled with rain or showers. Cool for the time of year.
