It comes with a host of other counties in the vicinity of County Carlow
County Carlow along with a host of other counties across the country and specifically in Leinster are under a yellow weather warning as per Met Éireann.
Met Éireann warnings:
"Rain becoming persistent and heavy at times.
Potential Impacts:
- Localised flooding
- Difficult travelling conditions
- Poor visibility"
The yellow weather warning is in place from 4:00 am on Tuesday the 9th until 4am on Wednesday the 10th.
Tonight's weather:
"Tonight will be cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain or drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate northeasterly wind."
The weather forecast by Met reads as follows:
"Tomorrow will be cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain or drizzle. The rain will turn heavy at times and spot flooding is possible. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees with a moderate to fresh northeasterly wind becoming light to moderate variable later."
Carlow Weather's Prediction on X: "A shift further West for rainfall tomorrow on latest charts which brings more areas into over 10mm range and higher risk of over 20mm for more areas too. Those with summer camps tomorrow might want to make plans for indoors."
"Up to 20c with good sunny spells but that cloud to the South is increasing and in it is all our rain for tonight and tomorrow so make the make of the most of it."
