Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for the day for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.
Looking fist at today's Met Éireann weather forecast:
"Wednesday will bring a mix of cloud and sunny spells with passing showers, some heavy or prolonged with the slight chance of lightning and hail, especially this evening with spot flooding. Cool for early September with highs of 14 to 16 degrees in mostly moderate northwest winds."

Tonight: "Showers will become more isolated early tonight, with dry and clear weather following. Mist and fog developing locally. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light to moderate northeast winds."
Tomorrow:
"Thursday will be a predominantly dry day with a mix of cloud and some sunny spells. Milder and more humid with highs of 18 to 20 degrees, warmest further west. Northwest winds will be mostly moderate in strength. There will be the chance of some showers arriving into southeast areas later."
Tomorrow evening: "Some showery rain across eastern and southern counties with dry conditions elsewhere. Mild and humid with lows of 12 to 15 degrees in moderate northeasterly winds."
