WEATHER: 'Outbreaks of rain' Daily weather forecast for Carlow

Met Éireann have provided their Carlow weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.

With the bad seeming to start this evening but hopefully will clear up for a dry enough bank holiday weekend.

First looking at the Met Éireann weather for today:

"Cloudy today but mostly dry, though a few patches of light rain and drizzle will develop through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds, easing this evening."

Tonight:

"A mainly dry start tonight but it will become wet and breezy early on as outbreaks of rain develop, turning heavy in some spots. Light southerly winds will increase moderate to fresh northerly by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees, coolest in northeast Leinster and mildest in the southeast."

Tomorrow:

"A dull and damp start to tomorrow with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. The rain will clear to the north in the afternoon, with sunny spells developing, though a few patches of drizzle may linger. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees with moderate east to northeast winds easing later."
