WEATHER: 'Very dry and settled' Forecast for tick or treaters in County Carlow

Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees

Met Éireann have provided their weather forecast for County Carlow for surrounding areas for Halloween night.

It looks like a dry day at least for all those trick or treating this evening.

Looking first at Met Éireann for today:

"Today will be mostly cloudy and mainly dry across Leinster with perhaps a few sunny breaks. There may be one or two spots of drizzle also. Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees with mostly light southwest breezes."

Carlow Weather on X: "Another day covered in cloud but a few spots getting lucky with some breaks. After two very wet Halloween nights this year looks dry and settled."

This evening:

"Tonight will be mostly cloudy and mainly dry. There may be a few patches of drizzle and some mist patches in places also. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light southwesterly breezes."

Tomorrow:

"Friday will continue mainly dry and mostly cloudy with a few bright intervals and perhaps one or two spots of drizzle. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in light variable breezes."

Friday Night:

"Friday night will be mainly dry and mostly cloudy. A few mist and fog patches may develop. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with light variable breezes."

Early look to Saturday:

"Saturday will be largely dry and mostly cloudy. There may be a few patches of drizzle and also a few sunny breaks. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees, with light south to southeast or variable breezes. Saturday night will bring a mix of cloud and clear spells, along with occasional drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light mainly southeast breezes."
