Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.

Dry spells across the county before a wet weather shift comes later in the day.

Firstly looking at Met Éireann for today:

"Largely dry today with just isolated showers. Some sunny spells also but a fair amount of cloud overall. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate and at times gusty southwest winds. Winds will be fresh at times near the south coast."

Tonight:

"Becoming largely dry as showers die out with clear spells at first tonight. Cloud will increase from the west overnight. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees, in moderate to fresh southerly winds."

Tomorrow:

"Turning rather wet and windy tomorrow. After a largely dry start for most, rain will spread eastwards to all areas through the afternoon. It will become quite windy also with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds. Highest afternoon temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees."

Tuesday Night: 

"The rain will become patchy overnight, clearing eastwards with scattered showers following. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with fresh to strong southwesterly winds veering westerly."
