Met Éireann have provided their weekend weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.
With a mostly dry and bright day with some isolated showers before a sub zero twist on the horizon.

Then looking at Met Éireann for today:
"A largely bright and breezy day with sunshine and scattered cloud. Isolated showers will develop through the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong west to northwest winds."
Tonight:
"Showers will ease on Wednesday night with clear spells developing. A cold night with lowest temperatures of 0 to +2 degrees, as westerly winds fall light over land."
Tomorrow:
"Thursday looks set to be a bright and fresh day with plenty of sunshine. Highest temperatures will range from 7 to 10 degrees in moderate west to northwest breezes."
Thursday Night:
" Largely dry on Thursday night with long clear spells. Frost will develop in some areas along with pockets of fog. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees generally but milder along Atlantic coastal fringes."
Early look to Friday:
"It is expected to be a mostly dry day on Friday with sunny spells. Maximum temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds."
