Weather forecasts for early September shows some milder settled weather
An Indian summer is a period of unusually dry, warm weather occurring in late autumn.
While GFS (the American weather model) shows some milder settled weather for a couple of days from next week the ECMWF (European Model) shows a much different picture.
Alan O'Reilly of www.carlowweather.com says it's a case of wait and see but he encouraged people not to get too excited.
