Carlow Carlow Carlow

'RIP drone'

The drone of forecaster Alan O'Reilly and www.carlowweather.com has been damaged and needs to be replaced so Alan has set up a GoFund me page which has raised over €600 in just a few hours.

Alan - who provides an invaluable service to the county with weather forecasts and beautiful snaps from the air of Carlow - says his drone hit rocks.

He said: "This GoFundMe is to help replace the drone I use for CarlowWeather which I have used to take photos over many of the beautiful spots in Carlow and capture weather shots.

"Sadly my old drone hit the rocks and I’m to replace it so I can continue to share photos from the air.

"Thanks for your kind support."
