Hurricane's path beyond the weekend is unclear

Hurricane Florence
There is currently no risk to Ireland from Hurricane Florence (pictured), according to www.carlowweather.com.
The hurricane's maximum sustained winds have increased to near 215 km/h with higher gusts.
Florence is now a category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.
Some weakening is forecasted during the next couple of days, but Florence is expected to remain a powerful hurricane through next week.
According to Alan O'Reilly, the "current path beyond the weekend is unclear, it may head for the east coast of the USA or turn northeast in Atlantic, however there is currently no risk to Ireland".
