Forecast model predicts Carlow could be hit by up to 20mm of rainfall by end of the week

Weather models are showing a risk of some heavy rain this coming Friday and Saturday, according to www.carlowweather.com.

It comes after a very dry week just past with many areas seeing less than 2mm and Soil Moisture Deficit still above 40mm in some Eastern areas with the River Slaney back down to very low levels in Tullow. 

According to Carlow Weather, one model is predicting between 10 and possibly 20mm of rainfall in Carlow on Friday night.
