The weekend is looking "fairly mild still and just some showers", according to www.carlowweather.com.
Forecaster Alan O'Reilly said: "Wednesday looks windy and damp but mild with heavy rain on and off.
"Thursday will see winds ease but drizzle and showers, mild day up to 15c but cool night.
"Friday will see some showers and still around 11c to 14c.
"Weekend looks fairly mild still and just some showers.
"The charts show the longer range models still showing high pressure building out to our Northeast with cooler but mainly settled weather possible next week, too far out for details so stay tuned."
