Traffic lights are out in Carlow town
Carlow is getting a battering from Storm Diana this morning, Wednesday.
Electricity supply has been affected, drivers have been warned of dangerous conditions and business have been affected.
Carlow Gardaí have appealed to motorists to be cautious if they have to go out and about. Traffic lights across the town have lost power.
Shops Closed
Storm damage also caused the Fair Green Shopping Centre to close for a short time on Wednesday morning but customers will be glad to know it has now fully re-opened for business.
Electricty Outage
ESB Networks are reporting faults in several areas this morning. More than 100 customers are affected in the Pollerton and Tullow areas. There are also faults in the Hacketstown/ Baltinglass area and the Goresbridge area.
