Forecaster Alan O'Reilly said: "The worst should stay off the northwest coast but track remains a little uncertain.
"Friday will start off dry but rain will spread from the west.
"Saturday looks very windy and also wet.
"Sunday will be mainly dry for the first half of the day but a risk of heavy rain moving into southern half of the country Sunday evening."
