Perfect bouncy castle weather

"Perfect for bouncing castles," the weekend weather will be mainly dry with lots of sunny spells, says Carlow forecaster Alan O'Reilly.

Showery Thursday but some bright spells too and up to 13C in light winds, according to www.carlowweather.com.

The forecaster said: "Thursday night looks cold with risk of frost again.

"Friday should be mainly dry with just the odd shower in Northern areas and up to 13C.

"The cold air will continue to keep you looking for the jackets into the weekend before it starts improve and warmer air tries to push up from Spain.

"How far will it make and how mild will it get is uncertain but certainly an improvement in temperatures coming.

"For all those with events this weekend that have been messaging me it looks like a mainly dry weekend with lots of sunny spells, just a small chance of a shower in Eastern areas, not too warm but not as cool as recent days and light winds.

"So nice days if cool and perfect for bouncing castles."
