Carlow forecast for week ahead predicts there is more 'heavy rain' on the horizon

Thursday will be cool, windy and showery but a band of heavy rain will sweep through Thursday night with winds increasing further for a time, according to www.carlowweather.com.
Forecaster Alan O'Reilly said: "Friday is looking windy and showery but temps back up a little to around 11C.
"The weekend is still a little uncertain but current charts show a mainly dry Saturday with just the odd shower and light winds.
"Sunday is looking wet for a time at present."
