Carlow weather to turn cooler but dryer next week 'with a risk of frost returning'

Forecaster Alan O'Reilly said: "Saturday looks a little milder but wet until late afternoon and strong winds continuing.

"Sunday looks cooler and windy with some showers but also some bright spells.

"It then looks likely to turn cooler but dryer next week with a risk of frost returning."
