There's a risk of more rain Friday and Saturday which could cause further issues, according to www.carlowweather.com. 

Forecaster Alan O'Reilly said that charts show a total of 100mm of rain is possible between Wednesday and Sunday morning "which could cause flooding in more areas".

Temperatures back around normal though, he added.
