Remnants of Storm Debby could bring rainfall to Carlow over the weekend

With just 2.5mm so far this month 'water supplies could do with some decent rainfall'
It's going to be a warm day in Carlow but the remnants of Storm Debby could see rainfall over the weekend.
Conditions on Saturday are likely to be overcast and wet in all areas of the country, as the remnants of ex-tropical storm Debby cross the country from the south-west.
The rain will be heavy and persistent at times, especially through the afternoon and evening, before gradually clearing from Atlantic coastal counties in the late evening.
Met Éireann is already forecasting up to 2mm of rain in Carlow on Sunday.
