Met Éireann have provided their weekend weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas and it looks relitively dry for the upcoming weekend!

Firstly looking to Met Éireann for today:

"Thursday will be dull and misty with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle occurring through the day. Some fog possible along the South Coast. Humid with highs of 18 to 21 or 22 degrees, best values further east. Light southerly winds will increase moderate to fresh at times later."

This evening: "Any residual rain will clear to clear well scattered showers early on tonight. A lot of dry weather will follow overnight. Lows of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate westerly winds."

Tomorrow: "Friday will be a brighter day with a mix of sunny spells and just isolated light showers early on. Most areas will stay fully dry. Highest temperatures of 19 to 22 degrees, all in moderate to fresh westerly winds."

Tomorrow evening: "Most areas dry with clear spells, except for some rain along southern and northwestern fringes. Lows 13 to 16 degrees in light to moderate southwest breezes."

Looking at the national outlook then for Saturday: "Sunshine and well scattered showers, mainly affecting Connacht and Ulster during the first half of the day. Sunshine will turn hazy later on. Rather warm in moderate westerly winds with highs of 18 to 23 degrees, warmest and driest across Leinster and Munster. Possible patchy drizzle across west and southwest areas after-dark, but otherwise staying dry. Lows of 11 to 15 degrees."

Sunday: "Some uncertainty, however current indications suggest it will be generally dry early on with hazy sunny spells but with persistent rain possibly moving into west and southwest areas in the evening. Warm and humid with highs of 19 to 25 degrees in mostly moderate southerly winds."
