Carlow's Altamont Gardens celebrate with FREE guided tours for the public
This Friday 7th July, Altamont Gardens are celebrating the 101st birthday of founder Corona North.
In 1983, Corona inherited Altamont House and 100 acres of land which she would later turn into what is now Altamont Gardens.
Altamont Gardens has since become one of the countries most-loved and visited gardens in Ireland.
To honor Corona's birthday, Altamont Gardens will host free guided tours available tomorrow, Friday 7th at 12pm and 3pm.
