WHAT'S ON: Popular literary festival returns to Borris house in Carlow

Borris House Festival of Writing and Ideas returns to County Carlow this upcoming Friday June 7th through to Sunday June 9th.

The festival takes place every year in June and brings together the most intriguing and international minds of novelists, journalists, film-makers, poets, theatre directors, war correspondents, biographers, artists, and political commentators across the weekend for stimulating dialogue and discussion.

Borris Festival is renowned for is languid relaxed feel, and its extraordinary line-up of speakers every year.

Weekend Tickets holders will have access to approximately 80 talks or events across 6 stages over three days - covering debates, discussions, performances, lectures, interviews and readings.

It gives you access to absolutely everything in the programme, as well as the bars, food-makers, bookshop, workshops, and grounds of Borris House in which to take a stroll. 

A full weekend ticket retails for €245 and are still available (at the time of writing) but are in limited supply. You can find more information on the event here.
