The Woodford Dolmen Hotel in Carlow
Local Carlow league soccer team, Killeshin FC, are rolling out the red carpet for their Oscars night fundraiser for the club.
The fundraiser is set to take place at The Woodford Dolmen Hotel on Saturday the 14th of June 2025 and features 6 takes on popular film and TV scenes.
Included are scenes from The Snapper, Walking Ned, Father Ted, Forest Gump, and more, they will all be aired on the night, the film that receives the most in donations will take home the coveted Best Picture Award.

The club is aiming to raise funds for the completion of the first floor of their clubhouse and finalize their second pitch.
Writing on their Facebook account they say:
"Roll out the red carpet – it’s nearly showtime!
Tickets are flying for Killeshin FC’s Oscars Night and you do not want to miss this!

Local stars on the big screen
Live music by Helter Skelter
Red carpet, awards & serious craic!
Date: Sat 14th June
