Lisnavagh House & Garden in Rathvilly is set to host what has been described as "Ireland’s ultimate vegan festival" this weekend.
Féile Vegan is a very unique festival, the only one of its kind in Ireland, which will celebrate veganism over three days through a wide range of events focusing on food, music, nature and wellbeing.
Vegans, and of course anyone else who may be interested in learning more about the lifestyle, are expected to gather at Lisnavagh House & Garden from Friday, 15 August to Sunday, 17 August.

Like any other festival around the country this summer, festival-goers can choose to go camping or glamping for the weekend or stay in cottage-style accommodation. There'll also be live music, DJs and drama performances.
Some special guests will also be on the line-up for activities over the weekend, including Dr Maureen O’Sullivan. A lecturer at the University of Galway on Animal Law, Dr O’Sullivan will be among the guest speakers at this year's festival.
Animals and nature are at the heart of Féile Vegan and so animal rescues and sanctuaries as well as vegan charities will be in attendance.
There'll be wellness sessions and plenty of family friendly activities on offer too. And, of course, lots of vegan food.
Day passes for the festival start at €50 but prices vary on the day you wish to go and the type of ticket you're looking for. Children under 12 go free.
