Free writing workshops will begin in Carlow this month as budding wordsmiths are encouraged to come along and take part within a social, relaxed group.
Workshops are free and will take place on Friday afternoons at 2pm. The first session will begin on September 16 and will run until December 19.
Join Take A Part Carlow Community Writer in Residence Clifton Redmond for a journey into the imagination through a series of creative writing workshops which will explore both the personal and collective relationship with reality by threading the border between the physical and the magical.

When the senses are drunk with overstimulation. When the lines between the real and imagined become blurred. When the ground you’re standing on begins to melt, and physicality starts to pour into an empty cup… You’re ready to begin.
These workshops are aimed at responding to themes surrounding the new season's exhibitions, ‘landscape’ and ‘memory’.
Tickets are free but must be booked. They can be booked online, in person or over the phone at Box Office. Wheelchair users and any group over 8 persons should book tickets directly through Box Office.
If you book a ticket and cannot attend, please let us know at your earliest convenience so someone else can avail of the ticket. Further Terms and Conditions can be found at visualcarlow.ie/visit/booking-information
