Everyone is welcome to come along to the Carlow Pride Festival information evening where organisers will be explaining why they are having pride and discussing their ideas and hopes for the festival next year.

The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 21 at 7pm in Morrissey's on Dublin Street.

Organisers said: "We also want your input. This festival is for you, your families and our local businesses!

"On the evening we will also be revealing our logo which has been designed by a local artist - tell us what you think.

"Bring your ideas, bring your friends and let's give Carlow Town the festival it needs! The meeting will be one hour."
