The Woodford Dolmen Hotel in Carlow
Carlow Fibromyalgia Support is holding a family information day to help sufferers and their families understand fibromyalgia better and give them lots of tips and tricks to help cope with everyday problems that come with it.
Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a long-term condition that causes pain all over the body. As well as widespread pain, people with fibromyalgia may also have: increased sensitivity to pain, fatigue and muscle stiffness.
The event will be held at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel on Sunday, April 7 from 10am to 4.30pm.
Entry fee is €10 including refreshments throughout the day and subsidised membership.
Speakers - including Dr Shelagh Wright - will be giving great tips on how to help and manage fibromyalgia.
