Journey in Time - the archaeology of the Carlow by-pass on show at the County Museum

A great exhibition

The construction of the Carlow by-pass saw many archaeological treasures being excavated during the M9 Carlow by-pass construction.

You will be struck by the similarities between ourselves and the people of the past.

Our ancestors were able to feed, clothe and provide shelter for their families, but it was their skill and expertise that helped create the most beautiful handmade tools and crafts.

So, why not step back in time and experience how our ancestors lived?

The exhibition at Carlow County Museum is in association with the National Museum of Ireland and the National Roads Authority.

Free admission, Monday - Saturday 10am – 4.30pm (last admission half hour before closing).
