The Carlow Ladies LGFA team are gearing up for the All-Ireland final tomorrow
Well wishes have been pouring in for the Carlow Ladies Football team, which will be playing in the All-Ireland Final tomorrow.
The TG4 Junior Ladies Football Final sees Carlow face Antrim, with throw-in at 11:45am.
Carlow head into the game having won all 17 of their matches so far this season, all while marking the first time the team has ever appeared in an All-Ireland final.
The ladies have been working and training hard over the last number of months, with preparations gearing up for the final tomorrow.
Well wishes and good luck tributes have been pouring in online, with the girls hopefully feeling the mountain of support behind them.
“Best of luck to the Carlow Ladies football team in the Junior All Ireland Final this Sunday in none other than Croke Park! The team will be looking to complete an incredible unbeaten season and bring the title back to Carlow. What an achievement it has been to get this far and we know the whole county will be behind you!” Tile N Style wrote on Facebook.
The Carlow Camogie team also posted a good luck wish stating: “Best of luck to our sisters in Carlow LGFA as they take to the field in Croke Park this Sunday for the TG4 All-Ireland Junior Football Final. Representing your county on the biggest stage of all is a tremendous honour. Enjoy every moment, embrace the occasion, and give it everything. The entire Carlow sporting community is behind you.”
About two weeks ago, the Carlow Ladies LGFA team held an open training session that encouraged the county to get behind the team and show support.
The same is being asked of the county tomorrow, with appeals for floods of red, green, and gold to be seen in Croke Park.
To watch the match at home, you can do so on the TG4 player.
