Sigerson Cup: SETU Carlow suffer heavy defeat at hands of UL

SETU Carlow were knocked out of the Sigerson Cup by the University of Limerick on Tuesday night after four second half goals paved the way for last year's finalists.
The Carlow college were five points down at the interval in Limerick, knowing a win was needed to secure a place in the quarter-final of the competition.
But UL came out in force after the break - finding the net on four occasions before Tommy Griffin scored a consolation goal for SETU Carlow.
UL will look to go one step further in this year's Sigerson Cup.
